As part of additional Bible study, I am reading again “𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭” that our friend Todd gave us. I love this book and its message how God’s love transforms us … which is what so many of us need right now in this world. Romans 12:2 clearly reminds us to not conform to the ways of this world but set our eyes upon Jesus. With all the hatred, abuse, scheming, pornography, stealing, cheating, and killing in this world, we should focus our intentions on what is good and noble as Philippians 4:8 reminds us of … “𝘍𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺, 𝘣𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴, 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘦, 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦, 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘴 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵, 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘶𝘳𝘦, 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘴 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘺, 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦, 𝘪𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘪𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘴𝘦, 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨.” How can we do this? In my study of Deuteronomy, they focused on word oғ мoυтн and мeмorιzaтιon as they didn’t have Bibles or churches to meet in to learn. Today we have a wonderful tool to use to know God’s commandments and examples of how He wants us to live … 丅ᕼᗴ ᗷᎥᗷᒪᗴ Are you using this to help you remember the importance of not conforming to the patterns of this world? Daily reading and prayer help me stay connected to our Lord. It helps me remember the many blessings I have in my life. It also helps me know that because I am saved … I KNOW I will be going to a much better place. Stop watching/listening to the news. Put on some Christian music or a motivational podcast. Instead of watching another movie on Netflix, pick up your Bible and read something in the New Testament then watch how your heart will start filling with joy! Have a blessed day!
